On November 18, 1978, amidst the vibrant countercultural movements of the era, a group of idealistic individuals came together to establish what would become the Cedar Grove Community Gardens. Born from a shared passion for sustainable living and communal harmony, the gardens quickly grew into a haven for like-minded souls seeking refuge from the chaos of urban life. With each member contributing their unique skills and visions, the community flourished, cultivating not only bountiful harvests of organic produce but also a deep sense of belonging and mutual support.

However, beneath the tranquil facade lurked whispers of a darker past, shrouded in mystery and speculation. Some claimed that the founders had ties to esoteric organizations, while others spoke of enigmatic rituals performed under the moonlit skies. Yet, despite these rumors, the gardens remained a beacon of positivity and inspiration, drawing in seekers from far and wide who were captivated by its aura of unity and shared purpose. Today, as Cedar Grove celebrates over four decades of growth and resilience, its tumultuous origins have faded into legend, overshadowed by the enduring legacy of community, sustainability, and the transformative power of nature. Join us and ascend.
